Time to finally go visit a couple of old classmates in the town of Grenoble. Note to our Vancouver friends: Grenoble once hosted the winter Olympics.
It is now one week that school started again in France. So I have decided to spent 2 days to get to Grenoble by using only secondary roads. Not a single main road or toll highway. The trip can be done in a bout 5 hours easily that way.
Well it was a rather successful day despite a late start. I did not reach the middle point before night came. I need to cross what is called the ‘Massif Central’ the third mountain range in France. It is a pretty remote country and very rural. There are no industry around and most villages remain untouched.
