The anticipation and level of excitation of riding the ‘top of the world’ highway was intense for a few days now. We were certainly not disappointed by this one of a kind highway. This highway was going through rolling hill ridge to other rolling hill ridge, on and on for kilometres after kilometres.
Spectacular remote views, with a mix of rather good pavement to compact dirt, to terrible freshly graded section under hailstorms like I had not seen in ages. We still could not believe that nobody dumped any bike on that section. Those TKCs tires were worth every penny for that section alone.
We were hosted by the nicest couple in Dawson, and given a private tour of the city and its close by attractions, along with some cool stories. What a cool place. definitively worth the drive.
