The boys are off again. After the big Utah ride last year, it seemed that a limit had been reached. Well that was without thinking that 2010 is an El Nino year, making it a perfect time to head North to the final frontier, the mighty state of Alaska.
In anticipation of rough dirt riding we all mounted a set of TKC 80 knobby tires on our bikes. And in an effort to save those tires from wear on paved roads, we took an Alaska ferry from Bellingham, WA to Haines AK. The ferry ride lasted 3 nights and took us along the famous inside passage. We were lucky to travel under calm weather and onto smooth waters at all time.
Stunning. Perhaps you should try to sell your pics to National Geographic…maybe fund your travels that way? 😉
