The trip down to the Cassiar Highway was pretty uneventful. We had to make ground, and I am sure that we pass by some interesting spots. But we need to get a reason to come back this way don’t we.
My memory of the Cassiar Highway is of a perfect smooth pavement, and the best place to spot bears and hopefully capture them with the camera. And this time again, I was not disappointed. Dare I say that I had the most inspiring moment when to young bears let me stay close to them for about five minutes.
It took us four days to travel along the Cassiar. One day was spent doing a side trip to Telegraph creek, which is hiding along the mighty Stikine river at the end of a 120km dirt road.
