Cotati (CA) – Visalia (CA) – 357Km
On the road again. This morning I scared myself once the bike got fully loaded. It is I think overloaded. The front wheel lift up wile on the center stand. from now on, I am unable to put the bike loaded on the center stand for gas stops. I think that off-roading is out of question too. I am not skilled enough for that.
After saying god bye to the best hosts in Cotati, I am off to a central california town named visalia. After hesitating a little bit if wether or not it is a good idea to cross San Francisco on a bank holiday, I am avoiding the bay as much as I can. So I head east to catch I5 and stick to it for many miles, This is relatively stress free ride, and there are a bunch of stuff to see on the side of I5. The canal is one of them. But I am most amazed by the agricultural economy down there. My first dairy farm is unforgettable, as the smell is pretty overwhelming. And I cannot believe the amount of tomatoes being moved around today.
Ready to go.
Interstate 5 towards Los Angeles.
