The Arravis is another area of the Alps where we are staying. We can actually see them from the rental flat windows. It is right across the valley. So below you can see a semi-aerial view of the village of Crest-Voland.
After yesterday long day around the Mont-Blanc, we decided to stay closer from home as the weather was forecast to be pretty unstable. So while avoiding major centres we visited some really small roads leading up to some local pass. It was very peaceful, and we managed to avoid any sort of rain up to the last hour, when a thunderstorm came down with a vengeance.
