The Beaufortain is a region of the French alps defined by a couple of valleys and key passes. a stinky cheese with the same name is of course produced there.
Today saw the start of a week relaxing and visiting the area. As I am now fairly sick after the bad weather in the UK and a very long ride down from Northern France, I am sharing my folks car for the visit. The heat wave of a few weeks is now a long distance memory as the temperature around here are pretty rough.
