What a day. It more than made up for yesterday grim weather.
Absolutely brilliant despite a good shower toward the end.
The road and scenery was second to none all day long. The legendary pass of ‘Tourmalet’ is one highlight, but the prize must go to Gavarnie which was the objective of the day. It was a hard walk to the top, but so totally worth it. What a site. Anyone going to Lourdes to see ‘Bernadette‘ needs to take an extra day to see this place.
