On a last minute decision on Tuesday, I decided to go see what everybody in the region has been talking about for over a month now. After a terrible salmon run last year in BC who had everybody concerned, this year the Sockeye returned in ‘biblical’ numbers. We are talking around 35 Millions of fish.
A once in a lifetime occurrence apparently. I had not return to Adams river since 2002 I believe, so before it is all over I had to ride there. Lucky enough the weather decided to co-operate for 3 days.
